Vaccinations

Dog

1st vaccination – 8 weeks of age
2nd vaccination – 10 weeks of age

There needs to be a one week gap after 2nd vaccination before puppy mixes or socialises with any unknown dogs.

Cat

1st vaccination – from 8-9 weeks of age
2nd vaccination – 12 weeks of age

IF THE BOOSTER VACCINATION DATE IS MISSED BY MORE THAN 6 MONTHS THEN A FULL COURSE IS NEEDED TO BRING THE ANIMAL BACK UP TO FULL IMMUNISATION.

Rabbit vaccination

Rabbits can be vaccinated against myxomatosis from 8 weeks of age.
From 10 weeks of age they can be vaccinated with ‘Cylap’ for haemorrhagic viral disease.

 

A full 24 hour emergency service is provided 365 days a year with at least one veterinary surgeon and nurse from our practice on call for emergencies. Phone any of our surgeries during the day or night to contact either a receptionist or veterinary surgeon. You will either be given advice by the veterinary surgeon or they will arrange to see your animal.
