Puppy Parties – St Peters Vets

st peters

As your puppy continues to grow, socialisation is an important part of their development. Your puppy learns the most during the first five months of his/ her life, so it is vital to introduce your puppy to as many things as possible during this time.

Bringing your puppy to our puppy parties enables them to interact with other puppies, people and explore new surroundings therefore encouraging them to adapt to different situations outside of their normal routines. This ensures that as they get older there will be fewer situations in which they feel uncomfortable.

Puppy parties provide a safe environment for your puppy to interact and socialise, whilst you will be able to ask our nursing team any questions you may have regarding the care of your puppy.

Our nurses will discuss topics to include: dental care, poisons and socialisation, with information on worming, flea control, vaccinations, neutering & microchipping available too, followed by toys and interaction! Our puppy parties are held regularly at our Horndean and Farlington surgery and last approximately one hour.

They are FREE of charge; all you need to do is call and register your interest with our reception team. One of our Veterinary nurses Becky or Bethan will be in contact with details of the next session.

Please note – all puppies are required to have had their 2nd Vaccination and be under 16 weeks of age prior to attending the parties. We also recommend that puppies are up to date with flea/ worming treatments.
